Marc:
Awesome post - touching as it does on the fears that brokers have about "mandatory" standards - especially in a challenging market. Its the kind of story that you read and then think "well, that worked for him - but it wouldn't work in my company..." Which may just be another way of saying "I don't have the courage to take the steps needed to make my company great". (Something all too many of us fall prey to in our businesses)

Congratulations to Mike for having the foresight to hire you and the courage to carry through on the plan you developed together.

Adam,

I chose to not post the link to the site or name the company because I really wanted to keep it focused on Mike the man, CEO, leader and the decisions he and his executive team made and executed - hard decisions at times that many brokers want to make but don't due to individual fears, concerns, etc.
Whatever the site is, looks like, etc., would IMO detract from this message which is about branding right down to the core and the positive effects it has on the company, the personnel and the public.

Marc, strange, but I would occasionally visit the Seven Gables website from time to time. I stopped by the site the other day, and I was blown away. I instantly recognized that it had changed for the better. Their "communities" tab is unbelievable. I think it's the easiest way to describe all these cities in Orange County.

As my little brokerage starts to grow and agents join with in covering more and more of L.A., I think it would be great to have a communities page like this on my site. Awesome.

Damn good job Marc! This is why you boys make the small bucks...

The excitement continues to build in the "OC" as 7GRE catapults forward into the next century with their new branding. Congratulations to Mike, his team and the 1000 Watt Consulting team who have helped make this overhaul a reality. This will be a tremendous success story of rebuilding from within and will prove otherwise to the many pundits who say it can't be done.
