@Tucker. There is no definitive answer here. That middle of the road is different for each individual. For me, I borrow my sensibilities from companies like Virgin America who created what appears to be an entirely different airline by attending to “simple things”. “The things people like”.

Focus on that. Everything else is a distraction.

How do we find that middle road of traditional and progressive. I feel like the people who “get it” are the ones who put there focus around knowing and helping people, and the others are using the hype of the new to hype themselves past really knowing and helping people. I admit, I’m guilty of the latter one many times and I think it is funny that 1000′s of years ago very wise man said that there really is nothing new under the sun, yet I sometimes still choose not to believe it by my actions. How do remember there is really nothing new, (it always seems to get back to relationships) and still strive forward with all the new stuff? A paradox. I hope I can be With it. Get it. On it.

Apparently it takes you more than 100 reasons to move to Austin. What’s it going to be? 125? 200? Let me know how many and I’ll fill in the blanks. I’m from the Bay and I’ve not once thought about going back since arrival in 2003. Just so you know…
