As part of a major consumer brand in Real Estate the experience of Brand has been huge for me as an agent. Our market had the traditional players until Sotheby's entered in to this quaint, traditional market in 2006. Now I look at everything thru the brand experience. Yes the consumer is part of this experience and a good meaningful brand will build sales and recognition for the broker and the agent. It's about something bigger and more meaningful. Now, tell me how will Home Services deliver a brand experience?

Great article Brian! Much along the lines of Lovemarks from Saatchi & Saatchi. I love the stardust factor that brings brands like Apple, Target, etc. to life. Creating that same "alter boy" near-religious experience for the patrons of our own brand is the holy grail of the marketing world.

Love the blog.

Brands lost sight of the most important aspect (IMHO), and that was the Client.

Brian
Perhaps companies and brokerages don't think as much as they should about their brands in their dash to add agents, customers, revenue etc.
Thanks for this.

Crisp and inspirational or maybe aspirational, a bit of both. It helps to remind ourselves and to be reminded, as you've shared here.

Thanks.

2010 will bring amazing things. Cheers.
