As usual, your reflections and disseminations on SM and RE are poignant.

The transparency of SM allows us Realtors to "sell" who we actually ARE, not who we would like to be. Thus, we have an opportunity to connect with people on a much deeper and personal level. Social Media is a relationship, not a task.

Thanks Marc!

I was one that quickly judged Twitter after playing with it for a few minutes, then moved on. It took several months before the hype was enough, and there were enough friends on Twitter, that I had to give it another shot. This time I was doing it more for business. It has me hooked, now I use Twitter to announce my blog posts about what is going on in town for weekly activities. Has already increased the traffic and I have had some nice feedback.

Marc,

Beautifully put. I'm sorry you had the tough month of recovery but I'm thankful it gave you the time to "re-think & re-evaluate" the opportunity Twitter can provide. What an interesting road Twitter takes so many people on.

I'm excited to hear about The Nines interaction with you. As a "local" being in Vancouver (not the one in Canada) this gives me reason to consider staying there if I am looking for a quick overnight away on a staycation.

Thanks for sharing!
