Another great Twitter tool is recently launched TweetLister (http://TweetLister.com). TweetLister is a free service that allows real estate brokers and owners to take full advantage of the vast, wide-reaching social network on Twitter. With TweetLister, you can easily create, post and manage all of your Twitter listings. You can track clicks on your listings, and collect leads – all in one spot. It's easy. It's friendly.

@DaveChomitz - True that building a community is crucial. But there is no other service out on the web today, that you can build it as quick.

I was hesitant for a couple of months about Twitter, but when I saw how it had extended to the real estate community @Rebarcamp Seattle, I jumped on board. Even bought the book Twitter Power by Joel Comm.

@Marc Davison, thanks for the post.

Cheers.

Cool. And like the advice posted above, be smart and targeted about your posts. Make each one count.

Great points Dave.

Marc, I would caution newbies from starting off doing too much broadcasting. If you broadcast even 50% of the time, you will loose your 10 followers quicker than you can say "Kevin Tomlinson is the King of Miami Beach".

Two great resources are @nik_nik s new ebook (free) which you can get over at www.mytechopinion.com

and of course www.twitip.com which is everything twitter.

While it's true you can "broadcast to the world" many don't seem to realize that typically, the only part of the world that will see it is the part that is following you.

Building a community is a critical step.

Cheers.
