Great article, I completely agree. I work with M Realty that is a brokerage that is trying to completely revolutionize the way that real estate is done. By making it easier for the clients, as well as the agent through smarter software.

I have to agree that the business is changing and smaller companies that are willing to adapt quicker have an advantage of the huge behemoths. I want to be able to change quickly.

Agreed, this is a great post. Much of my success has been derived off the Internet. I do brand much differently than many in the local field, and have enjoyed better success because of it. It is quite a different world. One of the more successful things I do I brand my website as a logo, and it has worked immeasurably. Some are scratching their heads over the amount of business I generate.

Hi guys,

We worked with Jonathan to build the site and appreciate your kind words.

We have built a few brokerage sites and were grateful for the opportunity to break out of the mold.

That's only possible when you have a super-sharp client willing to take on the status quo.

I'll add one more thing that helped - a copywriter. Someone to corral all those thoughts and great ideas into a consistent branding message across the site.
