I agree; they really missed the boat. I think they need to re-evaluate the way they handle their production choices and consider promoting internet only programs on tv and consider a subscription model for the tv shows. Just think about it. If 8-9 million people subscribe to a monthly subscription to Jericho (avaiable on iTunes, Netflix etc.) at $6.99/month it would gross $754,920,000 per year. That seems like a bit much.

Let's do $2.99/month per subscriber per show would gross $322,920,000 per year. I think that CBS could easily afford to make Jericho episodes for new media distribution over 12 months with that kind of money.

And at this very moment I spoke with my parents about how they wanted to cancel their cable. $45/month for basic cable? $150/month for cable with all the premium channels? You could subscribe to a lot of shows for that price.

Right now they just have to settle on becoming platform and media format neutral.

AS FOR REAL ESTATE...

We need to tackle new media. We need to discover how to take our profession to the next level and finally let go of this dreadful mom 'n popness our business currently carries on its shoulders.
